Solidify your friendship and rake in the rewards with Encor by EPCOR. When select Encor customers refer a friend to sign up for a fixed or variable rate power or natural gas plan (either one service or both), the referring customer gets a $50 Virtual Prepaid Mastercard®️, and the friend gets $50 off their first bill!

This offer is available only by forwarding the email you received from Encor to your friends. Once the friend gets it, all they need to do is follow the simple steps:

Step 1
Click the signup link in the email.

Step 2
Create an account in My Account, our account management system, and be sure not to navigate away from the page while signing up to be eligible (the promo code is automatically populated).

Step 3
After signing up, the new customer will receive a $50 bill credit on the first bill following 30 days of active service. The original Encor customer will receive a $50 Virtual Prepaid Mastercard®️.

Is there a limit to how many referrals a current customer can complete?

There are no limits on the number of friends you can refer.

How long until I get my reward?

For referring customers, your $50 Virtual Prepaid Mastercard®️, will arrive in your inbox 30-60 days after your friend started services. For new customers, your $50 bill credit will be applied after 30 days of services and will appear on your second bill.

Can I refer over the phone?

This is an online program only, and the referral needs to be completed via the referral email provided.

Does a new customer need to sign up for both sites (power and gas)?

The new customer can sign up for both power and gas, or just one service to be eligible for the $50 bill credit.

Does the new customer need to sign up with a fixed rate?

No, they can sign up for a fixed or variable rate product. We recommend a fixed-rate electricity product at this time given the market volatility. Fixed rate products can be cancelled at any time, without penalty.

I'm a new customer. How do I make a referral?

Referral links will be sent out every two weeks. If you haven't received your referral link within that timeframe, please email encorrewards@epcor.com

What if I'm already an EPCOR customer?

If you're an EPCOR customer but not an Encor by EPCOR customer, you can still participate. Simply click the link in your email, log into My Account and follow the prompts.

I'm with a Rural Electrification Association (REA). How do I sign up?

Please call our contact centre at 310-4300. Press '3' for residential and then press '1' for Encor. An agent will sign you up for Encor services and process your $50 bill credit. To ensure the friend who referred you gets their $50 reward, please forward the referral email to encorrewards@epcor.com with your new account number.
