Brent Hesje

Mr. Brent Hesje, ICD.D, was appointed to the board in November of 2024. He currently serves as the Executive Chair of Edmonton-based Fountain Tire, a company he formerly led as CEO for 17 years. Named one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies since 1994, Fountain Tire achieved significant success and growth over Mr. Hesje’s tenure and is one of North America’s largest tire dealers.

Mr. Hesje holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Saskatchewan, is an Ivey Quantum Shift Fellow, and an alumnus of the Governor General Conference.

Along with his roles on the EPCOR and Fountain Tire boards, Mr. Hesje serves on the boards of Alberta Blue Cross, The Fraser Institute, and several Canadian private companies. He formerly served as Chair of the Board of Governors of NAIT, the Automotive Industries Association of Canada, and The Support Network.

He is a hall of fame inductee in the based Tire Industry Association and, in October of 2023, he was inducted into the Northern Alberta Junior Achievement Business Hall of Fame.
