Where are EPCOR's Community Liaison Groups?

EPCOR is currently recruiting community members in the communities surrounding the following facilities:

  • Gold Bar wastewater treatment plant
  • French Creek, B.C., water treatment plant
  • Kananaskis water and wastewater treatment plant
  • Edmonton-wide (discussions will be related to EPCOR's water operations, projects and programs that have city-wide impacts in Edmonton).

What are we looking for?

We are looking for 10-15 members of the community to be part of each group. This will be made up of approximately equal numbers of representatives from community leagues, non-government organizations, and members of the community at large.

We're looking for people who are:

 What is the time commitment?

  • We anticipate the initial time commitment to be 3 hours over the first month. The first month will involve a facility tour (if COVID restrictions allow) and an orientation session.
  • After your orientation in the first month, we plan to have 2 or 3 meetings per year, with the estimated time commitment around 3-5 hours per meeting. This will include attending meetings, reviewing information and providing feedback and ideas.
  • We ask members to sit on the committee for two years.
