Distribution system capacity maps

As part of our commitment to transparency and customer service, we are pleased to introduce our new distribution system capacity maps. These maps provide valuable information about the available capacity in our service areas, helping customers and potential users identify opportunities for new connections, such as EV charging stations and Distributed Energy Resources (DERs).

Why capacity maps?

The Ontario Energy Board (OEB) has determined that providing capacity information through distribution system capacity maps is the most accessible option for our customers. This approach offers significant benefits, including:

Enhanced accessibility: Easy access to capacity information helps customers make informed decisions.
Support for EV and DER deployment: Identifying potential capacity availability supports the growth of EV charging infrastructure and DERs.
