Regulated residential rates

In Alberta, you have choice. Pick if you pay the current market rate for electricity or a competitive rate with a retailer. 

In Edmonton, EPCOR is your RRO provider. If you have not signed a contract with a retailer, you are on the RRO for electricity. This means your monthly rate will change month to month based on the market conditions when your electricity is bought. 

The RRO electricity rate is reviewed and approved by the Alberta Utilities Commission.
